ACT, the higher education division of Anatolia College is holding a major international conference on April 11 & 12 on its campus in Pylaia/Thessaloniki. The theme of the conference is whether robotic bodies are necessary for artificial intelligence. It will draw 200 leading European researchers to Thessaloniki for this event.

The conference is organized by the "European Network for the Advancement of Artificial Cognitive Systems" (EUCog), a group of currently 700 researchers in Europe, which is coordinated at ACT/Anatolia College by Vincent C. Müller. The EUCog network is funded by the European Commission under FP7 with ca. 4 mil. € over 6 years.
